Abstract

Two new species ofCompsoneura (Myristicaceae) from recent collections are described, discussed, and illustrated:Compsoneura rigidifolia, a species from the wet forest along the Inter-American Highway in Panama near the continental divide, andC. schultesiana, a lowland species from Vaupés, in Amazonian Colombia.
