Abstract

Four new species of Loranthaceae,Cladocolea apiculata. C. coriacea, Maracanthus pusillus, andPsittacanthus gigas, and one of Viscaceae,Dendrophthora diffusa, are described. The status ofDendrophthora willtreleasei Stehlé,Loranthus anomalus M. E. Jones, andPsittacanthus mexicanus (Presl ex Schult. f.) Blume is clarified. Descriptions and illustrations are provided for the seedlings ofNotanthera andIxocactus. The recently describedArceuthobium cubense Leiva & Bisse is referred toDendrophthora cupressoides (Macf.) Eichler.
