Ipomoea sawyeri (Convolvulaceae), a new species from Peru

Abstract

Ipomoea sawyeri shows no obvious relationship with any other species in Peru. It shares the persistent, foliose bract condition with the Ecuadorian speciesI. harlingii, and the BrazilianI. echinocalyx, and is probably allied with them.
