Jalcophila, a new genus of Andean Inuleae (Asteraceae)

Abstract

A new genus, Jalcophila, is described in the tribe Inuleae (Asteraceae). Two new species are here described within the genus:J. peruviana from north-central Peru andJ. ecuadorensis from northern and central Ecuador. Descriptions and illustrations are provided, and relationships discussed.
