A new, arborescent species of Byttneria (Sterculiaceae) from French Guiana

Abstract

Byttneria morii L. Barnett & Dorr from French Guiana is described and illustrated, and its taxonomic affinities are discussed. Also, a key to the species ofByttneria, that occur in the Guianas is provided.
