Bohumil Francis Kukachka (1915–1983)

Abstract

Bohumil Francis Kukachka is remembered for his anatomical studies of the Sapotaceae. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in 1942 in wood technology, and in 1945 his 37-year career began at the U.S. Forest Products Laboratory in Madison, Wisconsin. Seventy-four of his publications from 1944 to 1982 are listed.
