Abstract

Two previously monotypic genera,Taenidia andPseudotaenidia, are combined to form a single genusTaenidia, with two species. The difference in the fruits that has caused these otherwise very similar taxa to be referred to different tribes of the Apiaceae is considered to be of only specific importance in this instance.
