Astragalus columbianus (Leguminosae)-Rediscovery of an “extinct” species

Abstract

Astragalus columbianus, known from only two collections, was designated as rare, endangered and probably extinct. This species has been rediscovered and, while occupying a strip only 0.1 by about 10 km, is vigorous and in no immediate danger.
