Capsicum tovarii (Solanaceae), a new species of pepper from Peru

Abstract

A new species ofCapsicum (Capsicum tovarii), found on the slopes of the Mantaro river basin, Departments Huancavelica and Ayacucho of Peru, is described. Distribution and relationships within the genus are discussed.
