Abstract
Documented chromosome numbers and meiotic behavior are recorded for an additional 30 taxa representing 25 species of Cactaceae of southwestern United States and northern Mexico. Diploid and polyploid taxa including two triploids were observed, all of which indicate the same base number,x = 11. Trisomism and inversions are reported for the first time in cacti.
