Observations on the Florida flora

  • Published:
Brittonia Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

The present paper is mainly an account of the distribution in Florida, most particularly in western Florida, of 53 kinds of vascular plants. Thirty-two of them are indigenous to the phytogeographical area of which Florida is a part and 21 of them are introductions or adventives. On the basis of published records examined, it seems likely that at least 33 of the taxa are newly reported for Florida.
