The Tulasnelloid Fungi and their bearing on basidial terminology

Summary

Recent proposals concerning the reclassification of the Tulasnellaaceae and the Ceratobasidiaceae are examined and criticized. Considerations of basidial morphology and terminology relevant to the problem are discussed and definitions of basidial terms based on the discussion are suggested.
