Abstract
The Italian Health Ministry recently announced that it would start clinical trials of the controversial anticancer drug cocktail developed by Professor Luigi Di Bella. The decision is a response to strong public pressure on the Italian government to reimburse the treatment following claims that it is a ‘miracle cure’. The government set up an international panel of cancer experts to advise on the trials, which were scheduled to begin last month. Dr Kate Law who is head of clinical information at the UK Cancer Research Campaign (CRC) shed more light on the subject during an interview with Inpharma .
