Abstract
Immunosuppressive antibody therapy has been available since the 1960s, but it is only recently that such therapy has been used more widely. A number of exciting new antibody agents are poised to enter the market and it is likely that their use will increase in the near future. The potential role of these agents in the treatment of renal transplant recipients was discussed at the 32nd Annual Midyear Clinical Meeting of the American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists [ Atlanta, US; December 1997 ].
