Abstract
Long-term treatment with an ACE inhibitor in patients with transient or ongoing heart failure has been shown to provide benefits in terms of both cardioprotection and cost reduction, according to the results of 2 studies presented at the 19th Congress of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) [ Stockholm, Sweden; August 1997 ].
