New nomogram aids treatment decisions in prostate cancer

Abstract

A new nomogram developed by researchers at the Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, US, may help physicians to provide more appropriate treatment for patients with prostate cancer. This aid to treatment decision making could help to reduce costs and improve outcomes, according to a report at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center’s 5th Annual Genitourinary Oncology Conference on Advances in the Biology and Therapy of Prostate Cancer [ San Antonio, Texas; March 1997 ].
