On page 660, the paper says the following:
“As reported previously (14), we observed substantial neural damage following NMDA injections into the cerebral cortex (Fig. 5).”
As stated in the Materials and Methods section, this induced lesion was after intrastriatal N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) injection; thus, the text should say the following:
“As reported previously (14), we observed substantial neural damage following injections into the striatum (Fig, 5).”
