Abstract
A simple and reliable method is described for the determination of sodium dialkyldithiocarbamates (R2NCS2Na: R=CH3, C2H5, n-C3H7, and n-C4H9) by high performance liquid chromatography. They were injected onto a column packed with the strongly basic anion exchanger and separated with an eluent of acetonitrile-phosphate buffer containing no ion-pairing reagent. This method was applied to the analysis of commercially available R2NCS2Na. It was demonstrated that the results are in good agreement with those obtained by the Potentiometric titration.
