This includes working with journal editors to define editorial direction and develop content, as well as managing the product(s), driving the marketing strategies—particularly marketing to authors—and gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements through market research, all of which involves working closely with internal business units, academic editors, and external third-party organizations. This position also includes responsibility for ensuring that development efforts support the overall strategies and goals of the Publisher’s Office. Candidate performance will be measured against each product’s success using various metrics.

Advanced physical science degree, or a Bachelor’s degree and minimum of five years of experience in scientific publishing, including product development, market research, budgeting, or editorial functions. Alternative Energy FACULTY POSITION

A position i available in the USTAR Alternative Energy Cluster, with corresponding tenure-track academic appointment in one or more science/engineering departments. One faculty position at the assistant professor rank is announced by the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. We seek exceptional candidates for a tenure-track position with experimental expertise in the science and engineering of polymeric materials. Faculty members in the Department are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and initiate and sustain a vigorous graduate research program.
