J.R. Tesmer joined the Physics Division of Los Alamos National Laboratory in 1975. He has been involved primarily in the development of experimental apparatus for the application of ion beams to the characterization and modification of materials.

Don M. Parkin is acting director of the Center for Materials Science at Los Alamos National Laboratory. His current interests are radiation effects in metals and ceramics.

Carl Maggiore joined the Electronics Division of Los Alamos National Laboratory in 1976. His interests are in the characterization and modification of the near surfaces of materials.
