Patrick K. Gallagher, a member of the technical staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories, Murray Hill, New Jersey, is internationally known for his work in thermal analysis and has reeeived numerous patents and awards. His current research emphasis is on supercondueting ceramics. Gallagher is an officer of the Thermal Analysis Society, a Fellow of the American Ceramic Society and the North American Thermal Analysis Society, and a member of the Materials Research Society.
