Precise Settings for Coating Parameters

Numerical Simulation of Electrochemical Processes

It is not possible to investigate adequately every individual parameter that influences electrochemical processes. This is where numerical simulation comes in. It allows complex interrelationships in electrochemical cells to be recorded and represented and it also provides support for developing and managing procedures and processes.

Electroplated coatings are widely used for functional and decorative purposes. A broad range of process parameters and material properties have to be selected in order to achieve the required result. Often it is difficult, if not impossible, to set up and modify the different parameters only on the basis of experiments. Numerical simulation is a powerful tool for recording and representing the complex interrelationships in electrochemical processes.
