Lighting Manufacturer Chooses Powder to Replace Electroplating
A southern German manufacturer of industrial lighting has replaced its 32-year-old electroplating machine with a modern powder coating system that uses dense phase technology. _____ Regiolux had a whole series of reasons for investing in a new, state-of-the-art surface coating system. The company has around 200 employees and is based in Königsberg in Bavaria, where it produces technical lighting products. In addition, Regiolux wanted to install a new coating system that would meet its future process and application needs. A machine was required that was capable of coating all the company’s parts up to a length of 2.5 m.
