In August 2018, Peter Scholze was awarded a Fields medal “for transforming arithmetic algebraic geometry over \(p\)-adic fields through his introduction of perfectoid spaces, with application to Galois representations, and for the development of new cohomology theories”. In his Survey Article “On the Work of Peter Scholze” Torsten Wedhorn intends to give a guideline to many of these fascinating ideas.

Moreover, there are four book reviews. Martin Raum reviews the book “Harmonic Maass Forms and Mock Modular Forms: Theory and Applications” by K. Bringmann, A. Folsom, K. Ono, and L. Rolen. Andreas Knauf reviews the book “Information Geometry” by Nihat Ay, Jürgen Jost, Hông Vân Lê, and Lorenz Schwachhöfer. Dirk Blömker reviews the book “Stochastically Forced Compressible Fluid Flows” by D. Breit, E. Feireisl, and M. Hofmanová, and finally Thomas Kahle reviews the book “Algebraic Statistics” by S. Sullivant.

We hope that you enjoy reading this issue.
