A thermodynamic assessment of the ruthenium-tin (Ru-Sn) system

Abstract

After an experimental study of the Ru-Sn phase equilibria and thermodynamic properties, the Ru-Sn system has been numerically assessed with help of the Nancy Un routine and use of the authors’ new calorimetric information. The results are compared to those already published about Ru-Ge. They suggest very different behaviors of the liquid phases of these systems.
