Abstract
We study the properties of a quantum system confined in a shifted Coulomb potential using a direct analytical approach and the supersymmetric quantum mechanics analysis and then show concurrence of results of the two approaches. This analysis reveals an energy spectrum quite dependent of the shift distance and scaled down by the space deformation parameter. The spectral values are shown to generate a peculiar revival pattern on a localized wave packet that is discussed.
