Abstract.

In this work, Stark widths dependence on electron temperature for neutral chromium spectral lines have been studied. Different fitting methods have been analyzed to have the method that will give the best results. So it can be used with more confidence to interpolate and extrapolate the theoretical Stark parameters with different experimental electron temperature values. The Stark widths for nine neutral chromium spectral lines were analyzed and fitted by the power and the modified power formulas and by the quadratic logarithmic formula. The last analytic expression showed better result even both are three fitting parameters.
