Abstract
We have studied Locally Rotationally Symmetric (LRS) Bianchi type-I space-time containing perfect fluid with the linearly varying deceleration parameter proposed by Akarsu and Dereli (2011) in general relativity. It is interesting to note that the universe ends with a big rip.
