Abstract.

The muon transfer rates from hydrogen isotopes (p,d) to 3,4He2+ and 6,7Li3+ ions are calculated in the hyperspherical close coupling method. Well converged results are obtained. The present rates are comparable to those of existing calculations for He2+, but they are much larger for Li3+. The resonance parameters are also calculated for resonances near the (Hμ)1s threshold.
