Constrained path calculations of the 4 He and 16 O nuclei

Abstract.

We give results for the energy of the 4He and 16O nuclei using the auxiliary field diffusion Monte Carlo and a path constraint. We compare the results with previous FHNC and cluster Monte Carlo calculations.
