Core-ring Photonic Crystal Fibers for sensing

Abstract.

We present theory of the Photonic Crystal Fibres with core and ring regions. Geometries of two manufactured fibres are shown. We measured attenuation and propagation time of modes inside cores and rings. Obtained results agree well with presented simulations.
