Explicit designs of spin chains for perfect quantum state transfer

Abstract

Simple and explicit designs of short isotropic “XY" spin chains for perfect quantum state transfer are obtained analytically. Detailed results indicate that many qualitatively different designs exist, thus establishing more flexibility in designing quantum channels for high-fidelity quantum information transfer.
