Abstract
The study of territorial differences in economic and geographical research is traditionally based on the analysis of quantitative characteristics. The use of methods of comparative institutional analysis of settlements in the study of Ingushetia has made it possible to identify the factors responsible for the intraregional differentiation of the territory by analyzing the qualitative characteristics of the examined phenomena in the absence of municipal statistics.
