Abstract

Features of the dynamics of the characteristics of extreme droughts observed in the Russian Plain since the 1970s are found based on long-term data on the average monthly air temperature, the amount of atmospheric precipitation, the Selyaninov hydrothermal coefficient, soil moisture reserves, and the statistical curves of their spatial distribution.
