On the conditions of maintaining the ecological balance on gas and oil fields

Abstract

The concentrations of radionuclides responsible for radioactive contamination have been determined in an oilfield area based on the example of the Duzlak oilfield, where a gamma survey was previously conducted. The collector and drainage channel bordering the area is shown to lack effectiveness. An evaluation was given for travertines as a construction material. Measures for isolating the salts of radioactive and other elements that accumulated in the considered area are proposed.
