A new concept of sustainable ecological and economic development of mountain ecosystems (on the example of the Republic of Dagestan)

Abstract

The need and technology for sustainable ecological and economic development of geotories of an individual subject of the Russian Federation is supported by means of the development of a new concept and methodology for the study of ecological and economic systems accepted by regionalistics. Areas of work are suggested to improve the use of natural resources and environmental protection. Conditions and factors that determine sustainable and stable functioning of ecological and economic systems of the subject of the Russian Federation are given.
