Abstract
A method for estimating soil salinity is suggested. It uses parameters of plant fluorescence, based on the example of Meyer leadwort (Limonium meyeri), in order to develop methodology for monitoring changes in the plant-soil system. Use of the fluorescent method for investigation of the soil salinity problem can enhance the possibilities for information analysis and the prediction of landscape degradation development.
