Abstract

The results of a preliminary survey of the ecological state of 16 lakes in northern Kazakhstan are presented. The ecological state and trophic status of the lakes were assessed using methods of bioindication. The data on the saprobity and quantitative parameters of the lake zooplankton are given. Infection by Ergasilus sieboldi Nordmann was revealed in one of the waterbodies studied.
