Abstract
The results of the study of frequencies and spectra of chromosomal aberrations in the 48 h lymphocyte cultures of periphery blood obtained from residents exposed to harmful factors are presented here. In the individuals exposed to occupational hazards, we have revealed a statistically significant increase in the frequency of cells with chromosomal aberrations, compared to the control group (5.2 ± 0.3 and 2.4 ± 0.3, respectively). The highest frequency of cells with structural chromosome aberrations was observed in the workers of the iron and steel enterprise (6.3 ± 0.6).
