Abstract
Anthropometric and metabolic features of obesity and the rate of aging were determined in young women (mean age of 25.5 years) with infertility as a result of polycystic ovary syndrome, chronic anovulation, and other reproductive noninflammatory disorders. These parameters were compared to data for women of different age groups with obesity who had already realized their reproductive potential prior to the survey. Women with infertility due to increased visceral fat content which started to accumulate in the pre- and pubertal periods were shown to have metabolic disturbances that are typical for mature-aged women. These women showed the highest aging rate coefficient, resulting in a higher biological chronological age. Thus, early development of visceral obesity combined with reproductive disorders is associated with the increase of aging rate in young women.
