Composite Thin Films Formed via the Mobile Meniscus Method from Nanodispersed Silver Particles. Structure and Conductivity

  • Published:
Inorganic Materials: Applied Research Aims and scope

Abstract

This study reports the formation, structure, geometric characteristics, and conductivity of composite thin films obtained via the mobile meniscus method from nanodispersed silver particles with diameter less than 10 nm. The film thickness and the conductivity as functions of the weight concentration of a precursor (AgNO3), silver nanoparticle concentration (size), and evaporation temperature are established as well.

Notes

  1. The effect of temperature of evaporation was studied on emulsions with a precursor (AgNO3) content of 0.1 wt % and a silver nanoparticle diameter of 6.5 ± 0.3 nm.
