Formation of submicron structures on the surface of zirconium dioxide under illumination of nanosecond laser

Abstract

The possibility of submicron structure formation on the surface of ZrO2 under excimer nanosecond ArF laser (λ = 193 nm) irradiation is shown. A model for the surface nanostructure formation in the course of laser infusion of solids is proposed.
