Abstract

The paper is dedicated to the development and application of the 3D shallow water hydrodynamics model. Parallel realization of the deepest descent the symmetric successive over relaxation (SSOR) algorithm is presented for solving finite-difference equations obtained after discretization of the initial problem. Estimates for speeding up and increasing the efficiency of the parallel algorithm are given, and the flow velocity distribution for the Azov Sea (South of Russia) and the Lagoon Etang de Berre (South of France) are presented.
