Contemporary Problems of Ecology Aims and scope

Abstract

In the vast majority of works devoted to studying the water regime of soils the objects under observation proved to be isolated soils either as null- or one-dimensional formations. At the same time the nature of spatial organization of appropriate processes was not taken into account. This is connected with the imperfections of traditional methods of water regime investigation. In this work the observation results are presented of moistening dynamics of geochemically conjugated soils of the near-Ob area during their irrigation using the neutron moisture metering method.
