Abstract

New halogen-containing oligoethers based on 1,1-hydroxy-2,2-di(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethylene and 1,1-dichloro-2,2-di(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethylene of various degrees of condensation were synthesized via high-temperature polycondensation. Polymer composites with different amount of synthesized oligoesters were prepared based on 4,4’-dioxydiphenylpropane and 4,4’-chlorodiphenylsulfone. Modern methods showed that the new composites are superior to industrial polysulfone in their main physicochemical and operational properties.
