The Effect of Rubber Crumb Modification on Interfacial Interaction in Rubber–Bitumen Composites

Abstract

The results of a study of the properties of rubber–bitumen composites obtained using rubber crumb activated by a mechanochemical method are presented. The structure of rubber bitumens is investigated by atomic force microscopy. The efficiency of rubber crumb modification to improve the interaction at the interface between the elastomer and bitumen matrix is shown.
