Abstract
This article presents the results of expanded tests aimed at determining processing, strain and strength, and adhesive characteristics of Viladex STP and MS hybrid silane-functional sealant adhesives compared with their foreign-made alternatives. It is shown that Russian sealants are producible, elastic, durable, and highly adhesive to plastics and metals, resist climatic effects, have sufficient electric insulation properties, and can be recommended for sealing assemblies and modules in instrument engineering and gluing parts together in machine, ship, and carriage building.
