Abstract

This article presents results of studying the fungal resistance of polysulfide and silicone sealants. The microorganism biodestructors from the surface of sealants were analyzed. It was shown that paint and lacquer coatings effectively protect polysulfide sealants from microbial destruction. In the case of silicone sealants, the most pronounced protective effect was reached using the addition of thiram as an antiseptic.
