Abstract

With the purpose of obtaining new thermosensitive polymers, the phase transition temperatures of aqueous solutions of the N,N-dimethylaminoethylmethacrylate homopolymers and its copolymers with N,N-butylacrylamide, dodecylacrylate, dodecylmethacrylate, N-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)methacrylamide, and acrylic acid have been investigated. It is shown that the lower critical solution temperatures of polymers depend on the concentration of polymer and on the type of comonomer.
