Abstract
The effect of cardanol content on molecular weight distribution and kinetics of curing of alcohol-soluble phenol-cardanol-formaldehyde resolic oligomers aimed at replacing synthetic phenol with less toxic and renewable plant-based raw materials is studied. Densified laminated wood (DLW) samples were prepared. Their operating properties were shown to be superior to those of the currently produced DLW.
